Our Clubhouse is the largest indoor function space, seating up to 200 guests including the Hondo Gratton Room, and is a popular choice for weddings, celebrations, and formal events. With a full-service bar (including tap beer), in-house catering, and sweeping views of the track, it offers a complete event experience in one space. The adjoining Hondo Gratton Room can also be included for additional capacity if required. With access to outdoor areas and flexible setup options, the Clubhouse can be tailored to suit everything from elegant receptions to community events. (Please note: this space is not available on race days.)
The Hondo Gratton Room is a versatile and intimate space, featuring a striking mural in honour of Tony Turnbull and Hondo Gratton. Ideal for smaller functions such as birthdays, presentations, and Christmas parties, this room offers convenient access to the bar and full catering from our in-house kitchen. Despite its more compact size, it comfortably accommodates a range of event styles and layouts. When booked in advance, the Hondo Gratton Room is also available on race days—adding a unique and lively atmosphere to your event at no extra cost.
Our trackside Marquee is the largest function space on offer, accommodating up to 300 seated guests. Positioned right on the track, it provides a unique and exciting atmosphere—especially on race days, where you and your guests can enjoy front-row views of the action. The space includes a nearby bar with tap service, full AV sound and video capabilities, and access to catering options. Whether you’re hosting a large celebration, corporate event, or race day function, the Marquee delivers a memorable experience with plenty of flexibility.
Located in a separate building beside the parade ring and adjacent to the Clubhouse, the Memorabilia Room is a private and well-equipped space seating up to 100 guests. Perfect for a wide range of functions—including celebrations, presentations, and even ceremonies—this room offers the option of a dedicated bar and catering setup, giving you everything you need in one convenient location. It also features a full AV sound and video system, making it ideal for both social and corporate events. The Memorabilia Room is available for use on race days with prior notice.
Bathurst Harness Racing Club is located at 169 College Road, South Bathurst, NSW, 2795. We are one of Australia’s most successful provincial race clubs in the country. Bathurst is centrally located within the Central West of NSW, with Dubbo 2 hours to the west and Sydney 2 ½ hours to the east.
