Gold Crown Carnival

The Gold Crown Carnival is back! Taking place across 11 days from the 19th of March to the 30th. This year it will incorporate 6 action packed race meetings. These are:

 
  • Wed 19th (6pm – 9pm) – Gold Tiara Heats and Mares Graduate Heats / Gold Tiara Barrier Draw Night
  • Fri 21st – Gold Crown Heats and C&G’s Graduate Heats / Family Night and Gold Crown Barrier Draw Night
  • Mon 24th – Honouree Heats, Gold Chalice Heats and Gold Bracelet Heats / All Abilities Day
  • Wed 26th – B class meeting / Local Legends Night
  • Fri 28th – 2YO & 3YO Minor Consolations & Gold Coronet / Ladies Day
  • Sat 29th – Gold Crown Finals Night
Social Events:
An awesome Calcutta event on Golden Slipper Day, where we will have live racing on the big screen under the marquee; $15 all you can eat BBQ. It will be held on Saturday the 22nd from 12pm.
 
We host All Abilities Day here at the club on Monday the 24th. It kicks off at 11am and racing starts around 1pm. A great concept which engages with the community.
 

Also, on the calendar this year we have a Golf Day at the Bathurst Golf Club on Wednesday 26th which starts at 10am and is a 9-hole ambrose tournament; 4 players per team. The Local Legends Night that will include our B Class meeting.

The Honouree Dinner at the Bathurst RSL will be held Thursday 27th. Get there by 6pm for start.

 
Ladies Day will be an afternoon race meeting starting from 1pm and a great place to build connections with businesses in Bathurst. The event will be held on Friday 28th.
Gold Crown Finals Night:
 The biggest and best night of the carnival.

Buses:
Continuous shuttle buses will be running from the courthouse in the centre of town to the club throughout the evening on our big nights.
