The Gold Crown Carnival will return to Bathurst Harness Racing Club in March 2027, running across 10 action-packed days from the 17th to the 27th. Featuring an exciting lineup from the early heats right through to Finals Night, the carnival promises top-class racing, great entertainment, and something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a passionate racing fan or just looking for a fantastic day or night out, the Gold Crown Carnival is a highlight on the Bathurst events calendar. Saturday 20th – Welcome Dinner
An evening of socialising and networking at the Tattersalls Hotel in Bathurst. Finger food & drink on arrival for RSVP guests and full bistro available for purchasing meals.
Sunday 21st (Day) – Gold Crown Nutrien Yearling Sale
The Gold Crown Nutrien yearling sale and BBQ is a perfect way to combine exciting sales action with a great day out for the whole family.
Monday 22nd – All-Abilities Day and Calcutta and Barrier Draw
Lawn games, driver meet and greets, mini trots, free giveaways will all be part of our All-Abilities Day! Get involved in the fun as we host the Calcutta and Barrier Draw — a key part of the Carnival’s leading up to the finals.
Wednesday 24th – Ladies Night
A night for fun, fashion, and celebration! Enjoy marquee dining, Fashions on the Field, live entertainment, a lucky door prizes, and more. A perfect evening to dress up and enjoy the Carnival atmosphere.
Thursday 25th – Honouree Dinner
Celebrate the stars of the Gold Crown Carnival at our Honouree Dinner. Enjoy an elegant evening of recognition, dining, and great company.
Saturday 27th (Night) – Gold Crown Finals Night
The grand finale of the Carnival! Experience marquee dining, kids’ entertainment, live music, racing, and presentations. Celebrate the week’s highlights in style with family and friends.
