The Gold Crown Carnival will return to Bathurst Harness Racing Club in March 2027, running across 10 action-packed days from the 17th to the 27th. Featuring an exciting lineup from the early heats right through to Finals Night, the carnival promises top-class racing, great entertainment, and something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a passionate racing fan or just looking for a fantastic day or night out, the Gold Crown Carnival is a highlight on the Bathurst events calendar. Gold Crown Carnival
Taking place across 10 days from the 18th of March to the 28th. This year it will incorporate 6 action packed race meetings. These are:
Social Events
Sunday 22nd (Day) – Gold Crown Nutrien Yearling Sale
Kick off the Carnival with the Yearling Sale and our Family of League BBQ. A perfect way to combine exciting sales action with a great day out for the whole family.
Monday 23rd – Culcutta and Barrier Draw
Get involved in the fun as we host the Culcutta and Barrier Draw — a key part of the Carnival’s leading up to the finals.
Tuesday 24th – Honouree Dinner
Celebrate the stars of the past at our Honouree Dinner. Doors open at 6pm — enjoy an elegant evening of recognition, dining, and great company.
Wednesday 25th – Ladies Night
A night for fun, fashion, and celebration! Enjoy marquee dining, Fashions on the Field, live entertainment, a lucky door prizes, and more. A perfect evening to dress up and enjoy the Carnival atmosphere.
Friday 27th – Tradies Day
Knock off work early… or chuck a sickie! Come down for meat raffles, happy hour, and the Family of League Charity BBQ. A relaxed afternoon to unwind with friends, enjoy great food, and support a good cause.
Saturday 28th (Night) – Gold Crown Finals Night
The grand finale of the Carnival! Experience marquee dining, kids’ entertainment, live entertainment, racing, and presentations. Celebrate the week’s highlights in style with family and friends.
